Fort St. James District gives $5000 Donation
On Oct. 28 the District of Fort St, James made a Grant in Aid of $5000 to the Stuart Lake Men’s Shed after a presentation by our President Tyler Graham. This drives us over the top for our initial goal of $10,000 before our official Opening and towards our eventual $25,000 goal.
Anyone can help us reach our fundraising goals by dropping off a cheque or cash, mailing it to PO Box 2049 LOCAL or by email Interac to stuartlakemensshed@gmail.com
The new office is open every Weds from 9-12 so members can meet informally and talk about what’s happening and members of the public are welcome to see what we’re about.. Do drop in and feel free to ask about the Men’s shed, you may end up joining us!

We’re interested in collecting the skill sets* of any members actually willing to actively go out in the community and volunteer to help people needing your skill set. We need that info to determine who to send out when people contact us for help. Services will soon be offered to people in need and those wishing to make a donation to the Men’s Shed for small non-commercial services.
* If you are already a member you can submit your skillset using the form on the Contact Page using SUGGESTION as the subject. Do the same for any changes to your phone or Box number or your email address.
