Whereas:
It has been mentioned that a lot of people are asking to use sales by cards, and some walked away as we only do cash that we add a card reader service. As this requires private Internet access and we’ve been frustrated accessing Internet off other people’s wifi for updating records, Shedshop photos and testing donated electronic;
Be it resolved
– that we arange with Integris Credit Union to add an electronic card reader to the Men’s Shed account
– add Internet access as per the quote received from Telus
– obtain a cash register and begin proper Daily Sheet reporting ASAP

Shed Shop
As some of us discussed, I added a sample site for people to view.
We were discussing how the shop is getting crowded, we have many things too big or unfit to be put inside and how some sort of online site could help us feature those and other items to make room.
So instead of posting things one by one on Facebook Marketplace where not only will the listing get quickly pushed out of view and it lists under the postee’s name, we can use this alternative. I or anyone else can just post the link on Facebook and people will see a better list.
It’s a scrollable list of items. Eventually it can be used directly from the computer that will be in the shop, just take a picture of the item and add the item thru the interface. For the interim, you caq take a picture of an item in the sea can, or where its stored with a description and send it to me (Rick) and I will post it.
The direct link to see it is:
